I recieved my bachelors degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 where I majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minored in Special Education and Deaf Studies. I graduated with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Emerson College in 2015. Recently, I completed a certificate program at Framingham State University for Teaching English Learners. When I am not working I love traveling, reading, and embroidery.

FAQ

Do you accept health insurance?

At this time, Chatty Cats Speech does not accept health insurance. However, we hope to accept it in the future! For now, we only offer private pay. We accept cash, check, or Venmo.

My child didn’t qualify for services at school. Can they still get speech therapy at Chatty Cats?

Absolutely! Many students are found ineligible for school based speech services, but still present with communication challenges. One of the benefits of private speech therapy is that we can offer services without all the red tape that school services entail.

My child already gets speech at school. Can they do both?

Yes!! Receiving in school and in-home speech therapy means faster progress. Chatty Cats Speech can work in tandem with school services so you can see progress, increase your child’s confidence, and decrease your child’s frustration. It also increases the liklihood that the skills are carried over.

When do you offer sessions?

Currently we are offering services on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (after 4:30) as well as Satuday mornings.

Testimonials

Long iMessage Bubble Blue Icon

Elyse (Dion) Perry is an exceptional therapist, educator, and advocate for children. My children were incredibly fortunate to work with her throughout their elementary school years. She takes the time to understand the needs and motivations of each child and tailors activities to engage and strengthen their skills. My children felt that they were truly seen when they were with her and gave their best because of that. I am grateful for all of the care and experience that she devoted to my children and can see the impact each day in their kind, confident behavior. Elyse (Dion) Perry has my highest recommendation.
